you might not know about.

First, the scale · QGIS is not niche
QGIS monthly opens, rising from about 7 million in 2022 to about 20 million in 2026

Around 20 million QGIS opens a month, up from 7 million in 2022. Every one of those people needs styles, models and scripts — and some of them are making good ones.

The problem · one
YOU NEED SOMETHING

Where do I find
a style for this?
A model. A script.
Any idea at all.

YOU MADE SOMETHING

I made something
good.
How does anyone else
ever find it?

QGIS Hub

The resource exists.
The person who needs it exists.
They can’t find each other.

The answer · hub.qgis.org

Browse and download without an account. Uploading is the same site, same page — no pull request, no CSV.

Your turn · this is the whole upload form
The Hub upload form: file, thumbnail, name, description, tags, CC-0 confirmation

A file, a thumbnail, a name, CC-0 — and it is on the Hub. You already have something on your disk that belongs here. Share it.

Part two · without leaving QGIS

QGIS Hub Plugin

30,000 installs. Against 20 million QGIS opens a month.

The QGIS Hub Plugin · the same library, inside QGIS
QGIS Hub Explorer dialog: category tree on the left, thumbnail grid on the right

Every category, every count, the same thumbnails — in a QGIS dialog. Search, filter, preview, Add to QGIS.

Demo recording — 69 seconds

QGIS Hub Plugin, in practice

What the plugin does

It fetches. Search, preview and load, without leaving QGIS.

Uploading still happens on the website. Want it in the plugin? Come and build it with me.

Not the Resource Sharing plugin

It solves a different problem, from a directory of 27 git repositories.

Both are good. The Hub plugin is simply the shortest path in: install, open, use.

Two things, this week

Install the plugin.
Upload one thing.
